Brand Integration

In my last two posts (found here and here) I talked about rebranding your company and how to create a brand. And now that you have your awesome brand it’s time to roll it out!

Creating a brand goes beyond a logo!  Your brand should go through everything you do with your company, both internally and externally.

This way you will have the desired look and feel to your company.

Make sure everyone knows what’s going on

First things first, let everyone in your company know what’s going on!  Tell your staff what you are doing, why you are doing it and what is going to happen / change.

This way you can ensure that everyone is on board from the get-go. They should know what’s going to happen so they can promote it externally.  Great communication is key for any business, let people know what’s going on!

Merchandising and brand exposure

Now it’s time to get moving and roll out your new brand everywhere possible!

Even though your brand, as mentioned earlier, it’s more than just a logo; it’s important that people recognise your logo.  It’s now time to write a list of stuff that you can put your fabulous logo on.  Here are a few great ideas of things that could be branded:

  • Cars, Trucks and Vans
  • Stationary
  • Website
  • Emails
  • Shirts & Clothing
  • Promotional material, posters & mail outs

Here at Media Heroes, we have the bestest cars ever!  These are a great piece of advertising that go everywhere our sales representatives go, and they work!  We have had enquiries and sales from people seeing them roaming the roads of Queensland.

Social Branding

If you have been under a rock in the past 10 years, the world has changed.  If you aren’t using social media to directly contact your client base, you are neglecting part of your market.

Turning a customer into a fan can give you repeat business for years to come.  It also allows you to keep in touch with your client base which is great for communication both ways!  Get your new brand on at least Facebook, Twitter and Linked In.  Make it shiny, make people love you. Get in touch with us for all your online marketing needs.

Brand your workspace

The next bit is important and something that people often forget.  Not only should you be outwardly facing with your brand but make sure that you look at yourselves to get the feel throughout the business.  Great ideas for things that can be branded are:

  • Stationary
  • Clothing
  • Glass Frosting
  • Wall Murals
  • Posters / Wall Decorations
  • Cups
  • Internal Papers

Here at Media Heroes we have a fully branded office and have plans to get a wall mural up soon.  The brand even goes down to the cups, with our marvellous marvel jugs!  It really helps everyone remember that we should be super, it’s funky to work here and work should be fun!  It will keep the mood of your company high and make an impression on any client coming into your workplace.

The details are key

It’s the little touches that will really make your brand shine.  Attention to detail will really get the theme across.  No one wants to see motivational posters; it’s painfully demotivational looking at the same thing every day.

If your company is fun make sure everything is fun!  It’s also easy to do!  We have little hero flags around the office, hero art on the walls and we end our emails with ‘Super Regards’!  Your brand needs to be in every part of your business.

Shout about it

Once you have fully rebranded its now time to use all the fun stuff that you have made!  You have your email marketing in place so use it, put it on your blog, twitter and facebook!  Have a party!  It will remind old clients that you are still around and tell everyone that you have changed, but still awesome!

The End?

You don’t get to rest on your laurels once this has been done, open your calendar now and set yourself a reminder to take a look at your brand after 18 months.  What’s working and what isn’t working?  What looks a little dated and what still looks great?  At least you don’t have to start the process again and you now have an excellent base to work from!

I hope you all enjoyed this series and it has proven to be useful to you.  If you have any questions, feel like I have missed anything else or just want to send me pictures of your cats do drop me a line!
